After finishing the tread bay details (OK, 80-90% GW bits not attached yet, weapons neither) the hull is shaping up slowly. Some pictures:
I'm enjoying watching this come along by leaps and bounds. Good scratchbuild is always so inspiring! I'd love to see the end product put up against one of the originals for comparison too.
@Dverning: This is not likely to happen, I've never seen one in my life, and I have only heard about one guy who is rumored to own one. In Hungary of course. The first GW dealer opened here somewhere in the early nineties, before that we had to go to Vienna for them. Mostly I painted 1:72 plastics back then, with terrible results.
Very cool, as always. It is sad that you won't be able to take pictures with it against it's inspiration; however, maybe you could snap a few photos next to a current edition land raider for comparison?
